Bronche has more than ten years of extensive experience and proven leadership in a variety of Bay Area nonprofit organizations. Prior to becoming a part of the Ed Fund family Bronche served as the community programs director with Alternatives in Action at McClymonds high school. In his role Bronche provided leadership and overall management for all programming with a budget close to $950k serving close to 500 youth and their families in school- and community-based programs. These services include comprehensive afterschool and summer programming, wellness and mental health services, college readiness, youth leadership and workforce development, and family/caregiver education.
Previous to working at Alternatives in Action, Bronche was the Arts and Expression Director with Youth Uprising (YU) where he oversaw the visioning, planning, fiscal management and direction of a variety of community programs. In his time with YU, Bronche managed a $500K+ budget and all aspects of its direct service programming, serving over 1,000 K-12 youth and their families each year through school- and community-based programs that incorporated academic support, mentorship, college/career exploration, leadership and character development, service learning and coordinated services.
