Lamont Hill

Lamont Hill was born and raised in the Bay Area, living in Richmond all of his life. He started his education journey at Berkeley City College where he graduated with his AA degree in 2013. From there Lamont transferred to San Francisco State to finish his studies graduating in 2016 with a B.A Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences with an emphasis on Nutrition.
Lamont joined the Oakland Ed Fund in 2018 as the program coordinator of Oakland School Volunteers. With his prior experience working with students at the American Heart Association as an intern, and previous role as an assistant program coordinator working with high school students, this job was perfect for him as he could continue working in education.
Lamont’s started off as a program coordinator at the Ed Fund but has since changed to become the community partnership specialist, handling a significant number of the Adopt an Oakland School partnerships.
