The Ed Fund presented the inaugural Oakland Grown: Student Arts &
Music Festival fundraiser in October 2024. The community event hosted
at the Oakland Museum of California included performances and visual
art displays by OUSD students, family art activities, and more. Funds
raised support the A to Z Fund, which awards mini-grants to teachers for
programs and projects including fine arts, sports, field trips, and other
underfunded educational opportunities for students.
