Our Oakland School Volunteers program clears volunteers, matches educators with committed volunteers, hosts on-campus volunteer events, and manages the Adopt an Oakland School program that pairs local businesses with OUSD schools for a year of volunteer activities. We are the first stop for all parents, community members, and local businesses interested in volunteering in Oakland schools.
This year, we engaged with nearly every school in the District–dispatching volunteers, hosting events, or providing in-kind donations.
