Our Asian students, families and staff are beloved members of our District community, and I know many of them are devastated and scared because of all the anti-Asian violence they are seeing in the news and in our community. I am proud of our students who are beginning to organize multiracial dialogues to enhance solidarity across racial groups. Our recent racial affinity groups continue to offer spaces for our staff to have these critical dialogues, as well, with upcoming cross-cultural sessions planned this year.”
– Superintendent Kyla Johnson Trammel
